The Wonderworld laboratories of space and science, located in Evanston, Illinois, were a series of buildings and labs built around the APOGEE II space observatory. It serves as the physical home of SCG.
WW was built in 1888 by a group of traveling scientists looking to study patterns in the northern hemisphere. It served as a general observatory in the greater north-central region. In 1996, the compound was expanded with the addition of new offices that were used to conduct testing and experiments in the region close by. This included things like soil sampling, wildlife observation and eventually secret contracts that involved experimenting in gene manipulation with local fauna.
The building today houses a group of common areas, gaming rooms, a fully stocked kitchen and even a mail room!
